A third proposal would have the government guarantee payments from automakers if one filed for bankruptcy. That request would provide up to $10.5 billion. Those figures are... Full article... The industry expects consumer interest in small premium crossovers to grow and consequently the number of entries in the sector is expanding dramatically. The upscale small sport utility vehicle format was successfully established several years ago by Lexus with the RX300, and since then a few primary rivals have emerged, such as the Acura MDX, Infiniti EX35 and BMW X3. But this year a... Full article... In a world where perspective is in the eye of the beholder because business conditions are so awful. Ford's cross-town rivals exist on a federal lifeline: Chrysler LLC is looking for a deal, even multiple deals, to survive into the next quarter, and General... Full article... Last year it has been announced General Motors was ready to give up 4 of its manufacturing companies, one of which was Swedish Saab. Unfortunately, there were no firms interested in the purchase of the Saab shares. Ford wanted in its turn to give up Volvo and unlike Saab, the manufacturer received response from several companies in Europe and Asia.In the middle of December Swedish government in Stockholm approved a... I purchased it last year for whatever psychological reasons post-hormonal women do things like that. I love driving it, but it is totally impractical, since I own a sheep farm in Vermont at the top of a hill. I am thinking of trading it in for a Volvo C30 -- yes, I know that is impractical as well, but it is a bit heavier, so perhaps it is safer. What are your thoughts as to the... Full article...
