VW Eos tops Consumer Reports convertible shoot-out
Influential magazine Consumer Reports has given the Volkswagen Eos the best overall score in its latest convertible comparo, putting it ahead of six other contenders ranging from $32,660 to $49,525 in price. New York Auto Show: 2009 Volvo XC60 makes it to the U.S.
  Volvo today made its enterance into the fastest-growing segment in the North American market with their new 2009 Volvo XC60. According to Volvo’s press release, the ’smal premium utility’ is growing quickly and is expected to expand by 75 percent to 443,000 cars by 2009. Ford touting quality equal to that of Toyota and Honda
The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based RDA Group has found that Ford is on par with top-level stalwarts Toyota and Honda when it comes to vehicle quality. Ford managed 1,284 "things-gone-wrong" TGW per 1,000 vehicles during the first three months of ownership this year, statistically matching the two top Japanese brands, which are tied at 1,250 TGW.
