‘Avions Voisin’ name revived with new supercar concept
Just as Volkswagen Group’s Veyron supercar revived the longstanding Bugatti label, Portuguese-based designer Ernesto Freitas from Luso Motors envisages his new Voisin Concept injecting some life into France’s forgotten carmaker, Avions Voisin. At the moment his new Voisin Concept remains just a 3D simulated model but Freitas has plans to create a full scale model and hopes to display it at several international car shows. 2012 launch expected for Audi Q1
Audi bosses have hinted at launching a new compact SUV-crossover positioned below the recently revealed Q5 but an even smaller soft-roader is expected to be launched to help the carmaker reach its goal of delivering 40 different models by 2015. Audi a year away from decision on U.S. production

Audi Q5 debuts in Beijing
Audi has added a second model to its Q-car lineup with the unveiling of the all-new Q5 SUV at the Beijing Motor Show this weekend. Audi reveals Nurburgring 24-hour endurance R8
As this year’s Nurburgring 24 hour endurance challenge approaches several more carmakers have announced plans to enter the comp. The latest is Audi, which plans to enter a race-prepped version of its R8 super-sports car in the grueling event. BMW tops quality survey, Hummer comes second
Luxury brands have once again dominated an annual U.S. vehicle quality survey conducted by Californian research company Strategic Vision Inc. However, in a surprise result Hummer came second.
