We were going to stay away from posting anything on the leaked image of the 2010 Ford Taurus that you guys probably saw around the web yesterday since Ford had contacted many sites to take it down. But after getting an interesting tip from ‘Thumper’ and seeing InsideLine post the image without being scared of any legal action from Ford, we couldn’t hold it in.Besides seeing the new Superman 2010 Ford Taurus in the image, observative ‘Thumper’ pointed another vehicle in the shot that he... Review: 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG test drive
The Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG provides blistering straight-line speed and a comfortable interior but is hampered by a rough ride and appallingly low fuel economy. by Lawrence Ulrich ForbesAutos.com AMG, the performance arm of Mercedes-Benz, seems to be on a mission. It wants to extend its fearsome reach to every corner of the Benz lineup, including areas that appear to defy logic. For the majority of buyers, the ML350 SUV gets around quite smartly with its 268-horsepower V6 engine. Its $44,825 base price... Full article...

Ford touting quality equal to that of Toyota and Honda
The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based RDA Group has found that Ford is on par with top-level stalwarts Toyota and Honda when it comes to vehicle quality. Ford managed 1,284 "things-gone-wrong" TGW per 1,000 vehicles during the first three months of ownership this year, statistically matching the two top Japanese brands, which are tied at 1,250 TGW. Though it certianly won't be the last word in the ongoing debate as to who makes the best cars, it is at least a good sign for Ford. Perhaps what's most... Full article...

Smart cars aren't that practical, but they are fun
I'm at a stoplight in a tiny smart fortwo convertible, and the driver in the left lane rolls down his passenger-side window. He's a beefy, red-faced guy in a beefier, redder Chevy Silverado 4-by-4, and he has a few questions, or really the same question twice. "Why?" he says. "Why? You can't even burn rubber in it!" And when the light changes, he does exactly that -- using, I would guess, enough gasoline to get me from Riverview to Dearborn. Still, it's a reasonable inquiry. Scott Burgess, our esteemed... Other automakers say their dealers also are looking to certified used vehicle programs to help offset the decline in new model sales. Recent surveys by J.D. Power and Associates and Wachovia show... 1934 Ford concept sells for $1.76 Million
After being hidden away for decades in a Florida garage, an original Ford concept car designed by the son of Henry Ford, Edsel Bryant Ford, has sold at auction for $1.76 Million. The car is the 1934 Ford Model 40 Speedster and is regarded as one of the Blue Oval’s first ever concept cars.
