DETROIT -- The North American International Auto Show still manages to shock. And it doesn't matter whether you're looking for the best or the worst vehicles on the show floor. The biggest showstopper is the Cadillac Converj -- spelling aside, this concept car was hands down the best in show. It's the kind of car you want to go back and check out again. And you should. This car is an LED screamer on wheels. It's designers gone wild without the morning-after hangover. With solar panels on its glass roof... Full article...

Forget 2013 -- Detroit rolling out '09 winners | detnews.com | The Detroit News

The Cadillac Converj has an interesting name spelling -- and is a great way to make use of the Chevrolet Volt's underpinnings -- but General Motors Corp. won't sell one of them this year. These vehicles are important, but in an... Full article...

Kicking off the most important auto show of a crucial year, Detroit's Big Three automakers unveiled stylish, fuel-efficient and high-tech vehicles Sunday aimed at winning back customers from import brands and countering doomsayers and critics in Washington and across the country. Auto loans getting easier to obtain, but lenders remain cautious | detnews.com | The Detroit News

Those deals won't do you any good if you can't qualify. The reality is that many auto lenders are still stingy with money, so some dealers still have quiet showrooms. "The biggest challenge we've got is the availability of credit," said Dale Early, owner of Deerbrook Forest Chrysler-Jeep in Kingwood, Texas. Early said... Full article...
