Everybody was waiting for the grand opening of the New-York Auto Show. For two days press was full of the articles about the vehicles presented there. Finally today is the first day when the show starts and will take place for 10 days till March 30. This year New-York started earlier. Son of Hyundai Motors chairman relinquishes CEO title at Kia
SEOUL, South Korea -- The son of the chairman of Hyundai Motor Co. stepped aside Friday from his role as chief executive at the company's Kia affiliate, an official said. Chung Euisun, 37, son of Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Mong-koo, will keep his title as Kia Motors Corp. president and remain focused on overseas business and planning, said Kia spokesman Michael Choo. Hyundai confirms Avante hybrid for 2009
Hyundai has announced that it will begin to mass produce hybrid cars next year in a move certain to please an environmentally conscious market and which is likely to cement its position as a top five automaker. Hyundai Genesi go flying off transport truck in South Korea
Hyundai expects the 2009 Genesis Sedan to fly off the showroom floor. However, few were probably amused when a pair of the brand-new Korean sedans took a leap from a transporter. Hyundai Motor America responds to cranky South Korean journalist
A few weeks back we posted a video of a South Korean automotive journalist performing one of the first road tests of the new Hyundai Genesis sedan, albeit the South Korean market model.
