This doesn’t mean we expect 2009 to be any less hectic - quite the contrary actually as you will all soon find out - so we will be... Full article...

2009 Kia Cerato First Steer
Kia has a bit of a penchant for spelling words with a ‘K’ , for possibly obvious reasons, so I’m going to make a suggestion to it here, consider adding ‘Konservative’ to the lexicon – at least where it relates to the estimate that it will sell just 3000 of the all-new Cerato small sedan in Australia this year. While on the one hand the company has been talking up the new Cerato as a contender against the major players in the small car segment here, that’s Toyota... Mitusbishi’s mini car scheduled for 2010
Mitsubishi Motors is planning a mini low-cost world car for 2010, based on the company’s mini car platform. The new car will initially be geared toward Europe, China or Southeast Asia. The company plans to simply export its Japanese-spec mini car, albeit with a bigger engine and more equipment. By Japanese law, mini cars are limited to having engines no bigger than 660cc and dimensions no more than 3.41 metres long and 1.52 metres wide. They are hugely popular in Japan 1/3 of all new-car sales... Full article...

With GM on the brink, what will happen to the Corvette?
Some Corvette fans and avid forum members over at GM Inside News have already asked the unfathomable question of what automaker should take over the reigns of America's longest-running sports car if its parent company were to lose custody. Their answer, rather shockingly, was Toyota. We sure hope it doesn't come to that. Still, tough questions deserve thoughtful answers, and Motor Trend is asking away. Even if The General survives, what does the future hold for Team Corvette, which has seen its ranks... Full article...
