CAW optimistic on Chrysler | detnews.com | The Detroit News
Leaders of the Canadian Auto Workers union left a six-hour meeting with Chrysler Group LLC executives with substantially more optimism about the future of the automaker than they had going in. Metro Detroit police cars cool with authority | detnews.com | The Detroit News
It stands to reason that the communities surrounding the Motor City would field some cool cop cars. Many of us who are 40-plus remember fleets of Ford LTDs with 429-cid Police Interceptor engines and Dodge Monaco Police Pursuits with 440 Magnums. The tradition continues. Need for speedWhen driving on I-94 through Harper Woods, don't be surprised to see a black Mustang GT with silver Le Mans stripes sitting on the shoulder. The car isn't sidelined by a flat tire or an overheated radiator. It's shooting... Full article...

2010 Lincoln MKT has luxury, power to spare | detnews.com | The Detroit News
At 115 mph, the Michigan countryside blurs into horizontal lines of greens and browns; that is, if you look directly out the driver's window. My advice: Look straight ahead. Going that fast means you can see the forest, but not any of the trees, as they past in a flurry of sound and color. Now, I wasn't driving on just any Michigan road. I was testing the 2010 Lincoln MKT's new powertrain at Ford's Michigan Proving Grounds in Romeo. Part of the facility includes a super smooth, 5-mile oval track with... Full article...

All four Bentleys on display -- the Flying Spur, a Continental GT Speed and GTC Speed, and an Arnage -- had been sold to eager Chinese buyers by 2pm.A few minutes earlier, Rolls-Royce boss Tom Purves had announced the new "small" Rolls-Royce would be called the Ghost, and...
