Second Bond 'Quantum of Solace' crash leaves stunt driver in critical condition
Following the first crash on the scene of the new James Bond Movie “Quantum of Solace” this past weekend which left the stunt driver with minor injuries after the Aston Martin he was driving plunged into a lake, a second crash has left another stuntman seriously injured.Driving an Alfa Romeo car, the stunt driver crashed into a wall during a car-chase sequence involving a truck and Bond’s Aston Martin DBS. Second crash at Bond filming proves MI6 hates Alfas too
Filming of the latest Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, has been put on hiatus after two stunt drivers were injured during filming. The crash apparently took place while performing a chase sequence where one driver in an Alfa Romeo crashed into a wall while chasing Bond's Aston Martin DBS along the Gardesana, a curvy road that lines Lake Garda. One of Italy’s oldest coachbuilders is set to revive its car making business after several decades in hibernation despite the troubled times of many of its closest rivals.
