Alfa reveals voters' choice for new MiTo badge
Alfa Romeo has mounted a concerted campaign to get the public involved in shaping the brand image of its new Mi.To hatchback. One of the earliest steps was to hold an online contest to determine the vehicle's name, but ultimately rejected the winning proposal "Furiosa" in favor of the quirky MiTo nameplate. Alfa Romeo in talks with Jaguar over RWD platforms
If Alfa Romeo is serious about competing with Germany’s premium labels it will eventually have to drop its core FWD lineup or at least offer more affordable rear-drive models. Alfa Romeo picks Mi.To badge using online poll
As we approach the final launch date of Alfa Romeo’s new entry-level model, the ultra-stylish but oddly named Mi.To hatch, more details about the car have emerged including the final design of its new badge. Alfa Romeo CEO, Antonio Baravalle is stepping down as CEO of Alfa Romeo, Fiat’s premium sports car division. Baravalle, 42, will be leaving the auto industry after eight-years to join Einaudi, a publishing company of Italy’s Mondadori media group.
