One, Two, Three! Did Acura Strike Out With The TSX?
After making a bad first impression, the new Acura TSX wormed its way into the nearly agreeable category. Acura, Honda's upscale brand, widened and lengthened the TSX, which is loosely based on the European-market Honda Accord a different, slightly smaller car than the U.S. Accord, making it truly midsize and more comfortable, though still short on rear-seat knee room. Steering was a big minus in the loaded test car. That could be a deal-breaker for some, especially in a sports sedan where all controls... Full article...

NO MORE GERMAN CARS - Now What Do YOU DRIVE???
A hypothetical question, but still a fun one to consider.  Agent 001 asked me a similar question during the interview process, and I couldn't answer.  A world without BMW, Mercedes, Audi or VW.  Sure, all you Lexus fans out there are cheering the scenario, but lets face it, were it not for Mercedes and BMW, there probably wouldn't be a Lexus or Infiiniti either.  Heck, we wouldn't even have Acura come to think of it.So the question is this, take the Germans off the market, and for... Spied!! 2009 Acura TL - New Photos
It's been a long while since we've seen any spy shots of the 2009 TL. Maybe somebody caught my comment last week, or maybe this is just pure coincidence. Anyhow, our pal Chris Doane snagged this lightly camo'd TL out testing earlier today. There are 6 shots in this series but our budget is pretty tight at the moment, at least until we can get another flagship sponsor on board. I picked the 2 that I think show the most of the car.SOURCE Temple of Vtec[source] Full article...

CONTROLLED CHAOS - Did iDrive Change the Industry???
Look around everywhere and it is impossible not to notice something branded iSomething or another.  Whether iPod, iPhone, iMac, iTV or iDrive, the proliferation of all things “i” is immense.Five short years ago BMW hit the market with iDrive, a new driver interface meant to do away with dashboard clutter and make the driving experience better.  Car magazines as a whole were very negative towards the new technology and filled page upon page bashing the new system as a... Europe's favorite SUV crosses to America
As a company, Suzuki often seems a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, stuffed into a slightly shoddy handbag that smells of cheese. On the one hand, you have the motorcycle side of the company, maker of end-times miracles such as the Hayabusa and the GSX-R. These are completely and utterly fantastic bikes, virtually without peer, especially if you like going 300 mph in first gear. The company also makes scooters, ATVs and outboard motors, and I hear they are pretty good too. On the other... Full article...

Economic woes dent luxury market
America's love affair with easy credit and cheap gasoline has hit a dead end. Living large -- as economists came to call it in recent years -- consumers grew accustomed to piling on debt to refurbish bathrooms, add a sprawling deck, or embark on a cruise. Wants often trumped needs. The same families that stretched their finances to get into a new five-bedroom brick manse in recent years are now coming to terms with the pricey Explorer and Cadillac they aspired to own and park in the three-car garage... ALMS at Long Beach
Click above for high-res gallery of ALMS action from Long BeachWith Champ Car going the way of the dodo bird after this year's Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, it looks like the American Le Mans Series is poised to take over top billing at America's Monte Carlo. The street course around downtown Long Beach, California is quite a track, with a long tradition of motorsport excitement. Everything from Formula 1 to CART to Trans-Am have run here, but very few series can match the thrill of four different... Full article...

Beijing 2008: Geely CE concept makes its debut
Click above for high-res gallery of the Geely CEOk, the Geely car parade at Beijing is officially in full swing. One of the good-looking renderings we posted during the runup to the show was of the CE concept, a small hatchback that looked like it could just as easily be an Acura that's slumming in the entry-level class. In the metal, it looks pretty much exactly like the rendering -- a well-styled little Acura 5-door hatch. Only that's the Geely badge on that shield-shaped grille. It It is... Full article...

Honda NSX to spearhead RWD model lineup
Click above for a gallery of the Acura Advanced Sports Car concept.By most accounts, Honda originally planned to show off the next generation NSX to the seething throngs at last year's Tokyo Motor Show. But due to the less-than-positive reception the Advanced Sports Car concept garnered at the Detroit show, Honda's designers headed back to the drawing board to redesign the front clip housing the 550 hp, 4.5-liter V10.Now, Autocar has gotten word from a Honda insider that the NSX is bound for the 2009...
