In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Click image for a high-res gallery of the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STII remember the last red Subaru I drove. I was in high school, and the car was my dad's – a new '88 GL wagon with an automatic and push-button 4WD on the shifter. I dug that Scooby. It wasn't powerful but it was fun -- especially when it snowed. Somehow I managed to avoid bouncing it off a lamppost while sliding it around corners. This had much more to do with luck than skill, as I was in high school and clearly an idiot. But I... Full article...

Laymon quits Ford for post at Chevron
Joe Laymon, Ford Motor Co.'s global human resources chief and a close adviser to Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr., is leaving the struggling automaker to take a job at California-based Chevron Corp. Laymon was the chief architect of the game-changing contract Ford and the United Auto Workers hammered out last fall, and was widely credited with maintaining Ford's strong working relationship with the union in an era of downsizing and uncertainty. He also helped recruit Ford CEO Alan Mulally in 2006... Full article...

Spy Shots: High-res Chevrolet Camaro images
Despite the sheer number of near-production Camaro test-mules cropping up in both the U.S. and Australia and the recent release of its Dodge Challenger rival, GM’s new muscle car won’t be arriving in showrooms for more than a year. A lot of things could happen in the next 12 months and the Camaro we get in 2009 may not share much with the concept version first revealed in 2006. Fortunately, these new spy shots show that designers have kept most of the lines of the original concept but what’s... Full article...

VIDEO: 2010 Chevy Camaro cruising to classic rock
Click above to view video Unlike a number of other drugs, the great thing about 2010 Camaro sightings is that you cannot OD on them. With that in mind, we bring you a lengthy Camaro video, this time of a black car being trailed by an "official" camera car. The great thing about this video is that it comes with its own theme music, and the great thing about that is that you know you're going to hear this song coming out of a lot of Camaros when they hit the streets next year. Maybe they'll even offer... Full article...

2008 Belgrade Auto Show: Zastava Skala 55 (a.k.a. the Yugo)
Click above for more pics of the Zastava Skala 55The Easter holiday is a time of rebirth, and we can't think of a better automotive resurrection to celebrate than the Zastava Skala 55. Haven't heard of the Skala 55? Sure you have! It was sold here in the United States as the Yugo GV, and summarily tarred and feathered for being a $3,900 brand new car. Let's avoid an epic fight about the past and focus on why we're so jazzed that the rebuilt Zastava factory is still turning out these crisply styled... Full article...

Fast and Furious 4 will include a Hyundai Genesis Coupe
Click above for full high-res gallery of the 2010 Hyundai Genesis CoupeAccording to Inside Line, movie-goers should expect to see more tire-burning action from Hyundai's new Genesis Coupe than what's already been shown. It seems that the Korean car company has already sent Universal a bright red Genesis Coupe SE powered by the turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
