Production Nissan Intima to debut at Beijing Motor Show
Nissan teased us with the unveiling of an extravagant sedan concept at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show but then went silent when it came time to talk about production details. Now, on the eve of this month’s Beijing Motor Show, Nissan has released an official teaser for a new sedan that shares some of the lines of the previous concept. The concept was the Nissan Intima sedan, a coupe-like four door with swiveling seats and rear-opening suicide doors. Officials haven’t released any details about the...

2008 NISSAN ROGUE SL AWD REVIEW
When I first heard of this new vehicle from Nissan, the name alone conjured up all kinds of thoughts in my mind. After all, who names their new born fledgling "a Rogue"?? In my mind, that's almost like Chanel calling its latest fragrance "Pong"!Mind you, after seeing and driving the vehicle, I can't honestly think of a better nameplate to describe this delightful new CUV offering from Nissan.Obviously, the Rogue is built on a slightly smaller scale than the Murano.Yes, it's a rogue...

Nissan GTR 'more like two tons of fluffy kitten' - Dan Neil (LA Times)
Previous Image 1 of 6 Next2009 Nissan GTR. Photos by Nissan USA.I know what you want from me. You think I'm just your little word slut, that I'm here just to arouse you with steamy descriptions of the new and instantly legendary Nissan GT-R.  You want me to parade around in frilly verbiage, like: "The acceleration of the twin-turbo, all-wheel-drive, 480-hp GT-R is much like a 50-yard field goal in the NFL, wherein your butt is the football.'' Sigh. I feel so used. But I'm not going to do...

Nissan GT-R mods hit the market
Despite fears Nissan ’s new GT-R wouldn’t tolerate anyone tinkering around with its innards, Japan’s industrious tuning firms have managed to develop a number of aftermarket parts claimed to boost performance of the supercar. Initial testing showed that even simple mods such as adding new wheels or breathing mods makes the ECU go haywire, but it appears Japan’s tuners have now cracked the code. Some of the big firms such as Mines, HKS and Top Secret are starting to fill their...

Nissan planning more model swaps
Just last week details of Nissan’s deal with Chrysler were announced, each producing a vehicle for the other to help fill out both companies’ product lines. Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn says more deals like it are in the works, with many different makers, though details on the coming model-swaps are still hazy. Ghosn was quick to note that Chrysler isn’t destined to become the North American partner Nissan has been seeking, saying “I don’t think the opportunity is there today...
