Nissan GT-R blurs line between video games, reality | detnews.com | The Detroit News I finally understand why Godzilla stomps into a city and breathes fire everywhere. He just wants to be noticed. When you're the biggest, baddest Lacertilia on the block, people should run away screaming in fear. That's how most people react to monsters. But in Detroit, if it doesn't wear a bow tie, blue oval or come with a cross-haired grille, people just don't seem to take interest. When Nissan Motor Co. called to tell me there was a spare 2010 Nissan GT-R sitting around and wondered if I could squeeze... Article added: 2009-09-14 04:08:51 Article Views Rating: 54

Sneak peek: 2010 Nissan NV2500 | detnews.com | The Detroit News Nissan debuted the NV2500 full-size commercial van concept in March, and it appears that work on the new vehicle is under way. The massive frame rails underpinning on this test vehicle and the heavy duty, eight-lug wheels show this is a serious commercial truck. This particular test car seems to be wearing at least some Armada sheet metal and probably does not represent the final design. The vents on the rear quarter panel also intrigue us. This probably means there is a battery pack somewhere at the... Article added: 2009-08-03 06:14:56 Article Views Rating: 86

Nissan Lithium-Ion Electric Car Concept cars are intended to be thought provoking. Nissan's NuVu, or 'New View,' city car concept is just that. It may make you smile, laugh, do a double-take, shake your head, draw you in for a closer look, or all of the above. One thing you can't do, however, is ignore it. NuVu is nothing short of a complete rethinking of the car's role in an urban environment. It's not designed for highway use or cross-country travel, but rather just zipping around on congested city streets and squeezing into... Article added: 2009-04-02 05:40:49 Article Views Rating: 404
