EPA docs confirm 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback coming in GTS and Ralliart trims
Any chance we get to grill a Mitsubishi PR person about the 2009 Lancer Sportback, our questioning inevitably centers on whether the five-door will be packing the Lancer Ralliart's turbocharged, all-wheel-drivetrain. At the New York Auto Show, we were told that the Sportback would "probably" carry the Ralliart's 237-hp, turbocharged inline-four and Evo IX-derived AWD system, but nobody from Mitsubishi would confirmed it. New Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X FQ-400: Limited Edition with 405HP
In what promises to be the fastest and most expensive EVO yet, the Lancer EVO X FQ-400 will pack a souped-up version of the standard car's 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a new ECU and exhaust system to produce around 405HP and 400lb-ft of torque. That should be good enough to propel the EVO from standstill to 60mph 96 km/h in around 3,5 - 3,7 sec. Comparatively, the 354HP EVO X FQ360 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4,1 sec.[source]

Mitsubishi Evolution X FQ400 coming with 405 hp
Autocar snagged a handful of pics and some initial specs of the UK-only Mitsubishi Evolution X FX-400, and as suspected, the hotter Evo is a road-going version of the ADR Motorsport-prepared sedan that successfully campaigned this past September in the 24-Hour Britcar Championship. The turbocharged 2.0-liter 4B11 will put out approximately 405 hp and 400 lb.-ft. of torque thanks to a new turbo, retuned ECU and center-exit exhaust. As opposed to the outgoing FQ400, the Evo X-based model won't use a race...

Mitsubishi Concept RA
It's a rare day when a concept makes us visibly wretch, but Mitsubishi did just that when it ripped the sheets off its Concept-RA. Maybe it was the ill-proportioned front fascia that took all the wrong cues from a Vector, or the generic styling of the rear three-quarter view, but overall, it left us cold, despite Mitsu's infinitely looped Daft Punk/Kanye West mashup.Regardless, the Concept-RA uses some innovative materials aluminum space frame and recycled plastic body panels and we like the idea of an...
