Ford and Shelby to build 756 additional GT500KRs
In order to meet worldwide demand, Ford announced today that it will build an additional 746 units of the 2009 Shelby GT500KR. While 571 of the 746 units will be allocated for the U.S., the remainder will go to countries that did not receive the 2008 models.i The 2009 Shelby GT500KR will be powered by the same 5.4L supercharged V8 engine producing 540-hp.
