Youth Concept From Honda

One of the future concepts at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show was presented by Honda. A mix of Honda Fit and Ford Fiesta, the new Guangzhou Li Nian will start in the beginning of 2010. According to the car makers’ predictions it is a youth-oriented vehicle.

The new compact crossover is designed and engineered by Guangzhou Honda Automobile Research and Development. The manufacturers did not release any details concerning Li Nian, but they say the car is a combination of “dream-inspiring future and dynamic, stylish and high-quality life”. This vehicle is the China’s answer to sub-brand idea, popular nowadays. With it Honda aims to pursue the “lofty ideals with a challenging spirit”.

With Li Nian Honda plans to compete with the already existing Scion concept made by Toyota and the Chinese buyers will have a choice between the two famous brands.
