![]() The City of Arts sand Sciences in Valencia, Spain always welcomes a big number of visitors. Last week there seemed to be even more of them than ever because the racing car manufacturer, GTA Motor, decided to introduce its first supercar there. A combination of a Dodge Viper and European style is called Spano. GTA Motor is really careful about the supercar. The company’s representative said that it holds five world patents on the Spano. Five years of designing work were long but fruitful: they say Spano outputs 840 horsepower running on pure ethanol. The new car is powered by a supercharged 8.3-liter V10 engine from Dodge Viper which is connected to a seven-speed sequential transmission. Active suspension control system allows the driver to change vehicle’s height and achieve the best results. With the top speed of 217 mph Spano would need really strong brakes and the manufacturer picked 15-inch carbon-ceramic ventilated disc brakes for it. Besides these facts the car is full of other features: unique lightweight wheels are connected to specifically designed chassis made of carbon fiber, titanium and Kevlar; sculptured sides of the body provide better air intake that helps to cool off the engine; the roof is made out of glass the transparency of which can be adjusted. GTA Motor plans to assemble only 99 cars. The quickest customers come from China where the first Spano will be sent. The price of the supercar is $815,750.
