Sneak peek: Opel Antara | detnews.com | The Detroit News

If you thought the end of the Saturn brand would affect only car buyers in America, think again.

The Opel Antara on the roads today has shared a body and interior with the Saturn Vue. Now that the Vue is going away, the Antara needs a new body double. Judging from our spy photos, it appears GM will give Opel a version of the Chevy Captiva.

The new Opel grill is easy to see through the camouflage on this prototype, along with some impressive looking projector headlights. A chrome-ringed, lower grill opening can also be seen.

Watch for this new Opel to go on sale in the first half of 2010.
