Sneak peek: 2010 Volvo S60 | detnews.com | The Detroit News |
When Volvo's sleek S60 reaches dealerships, it will -- except for the so-called suicide doors -- very closely resemble the stunning concept shown at the 2009 North American International Auto Show.
With a coupe-like roofline, the all new S60 will add sex appeal to the once boxy and somewhat boring Volvo lineup.
The S60 will eventually be offered with a high-efficiency gasoline turbocharged direct-injection 1.6-liter engine mated to a twin-clutch transmission -- with an estimated-combined 47 miles per gallon. In addition, Volvo has said to expect new technology -- including a collision warning system with full auto braking and pedestrian detection.
We're guessing an official debut will take place sometime during the first quarter of 2010.
