Sneak peek: 2010 Lincoln MKT | detnews.com | The Detroit News

Ford Motor Co.'s executive vice president, Mark Fields, described the Lincoln MKT concept as a "full-size premium utility (that) offers the comfort of a luxury sedan, the spaciousness and flexibility of a full-size utility and the performance of a sporty roadster." By the looks of this prototype, Ford is staying close to the concept for the Lincoln MKT. An MKS-inspired grill is visible up front, along with a pair of xenon headlights. Sensors for Ford's recently debuted parking assist system are also visible on the front fender. Power for the new MKT is expected to come from a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 340 horsepower, as well as a standard 270-horsepower V-6. Production on the 2010 Lincoln MKT is expected to start this summer in Ontario's Oakville plant.
