Rumor: Lamborghini Murcielago SV to debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show |
As the lifecycle of the Murcielago supercar by Lamborghini draws to an end, designers plan to make public a lightened variant that comes with even more potency compared to the Reventon’s 641hp (478 kW). Anticipated to put on the legendary ‘SV’ title, employed for the Diablo previously, the new version will weigh lighter than the stock version by up to 220lb (100kg). The most current reports from insiders, hint that the car’s development may point to a debut as early as in March’s Geneva Motor Show.There are no fresh information on the SV with the current time frame, though there is new talks that the vehicle could be named SL (superleggera) rather than SV (super veloce). The label “superleggera” has been employed on the Gallardo lately, even though the SV tag has also been used in both the Diablo and the Miura beforehand.
