Renault-Nissan Alliance unveils brand-new V6 dCi Diesel engine


This is the first V6 engine designed and created by the Renault-Nissan Alliance. It will be utilized by top ranged vehicles to address the increasing international demand for powerful engines but are also both economical and environmentally safe. The cooperation of the Renault-Nissan Alliance has made it feasible for Renault and Nissan to provide a high-tech, first-rate powertrain to their clients around the globe.

The latest V6 dCi (V9X) is a demonstration of what the Renault-Nissan Alliance is really about. The engine was designed by the two companies, has been put together in a Renault plant and will be installed in Renault, Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. This approach makes it possible to divide the costs, to profit from economies of scale, and to present more vehicle versions to buyers.
