The hottest rumor i came upon at the LA Auto show was that the BMW CS concept although cancelled, was going to be re-incarnated by the Gents over at Rolls-Royce and become a straight on competitor, to the Aston Martin Rapide.And boy, was I digging THAT when I heard the rumor. So I at the BMW/Rolls dinner i approached a couple execs and asked them flat out if I was on to something. And the answer was... NOT gonna happen. So I went into my diatribe telling them that it might be an awesome idea if they really DID build a Rolls Rapide competitor. And they countered with their reasons which right now I don't remember, nor do I want to because I want one! So I said to them, why don't we pose the question to the most affluent and knowledgeable auto people on the planet (The AutoSpies.com reader) and get their opinions on the subject. So do you think Rolls should resurrect the CS Design and Rolls-ify it, in order to have a less expensive Bentley/Aston competitor that talks to a whole new market?
