Lexus LF-A Concept |
Recently Lexus development team finishes its work on the new LF-A concept. In the end of May, they plan to take it to Nürburgring 24-hour race in Germany for a test and advice from the German experts. The results of the race will also show the automaker, what else should be considered in the development of the vehicle.
Though the concept is not created for racing, the manufacturers plan to equip it with special safety equipment which will protect the driver even on high speed. Among the other features there will be roll cage and extra-strong fuel tank.
The developers put 550-horsepower into LF-A. It has rear-mounted transmission and radiators. As the manufacturers say they want to make 200 mph not a possibility for Lexus, but probability.
This new concept is a big jump for Lexus and seems like they carefully think about all the details.
