Knight Rider series to debut this fall

The Knight Rider TV-Movie pilot was a great success, so BC has greenlit the new Knight Rider as an ongoing series to debut this fall. It’s possible the show will be given a Friday night timeslot when NBC announces its fall schedule at their Upfront presentation this coming Wednesday.

However, NBC is making it clear that the schedule they announce this week could very well change based on various factors, including how their pilots progress and what competition the other networks schedule – the other networks won’t be announcing their lineups until the typical Upfront time in May.
