Ferrari Goes to Indian Car Market

There are many car manufacturers in the world and they compete trying to win customers in all the different countries. Not long ago it has been announced, Italian company, Ferrari, plans to bring their product to India in 2010. They want to cooperate with Tata Group in order to do so.

The local Indian press says, the head of Ferrari India Drive, Gabrielle Lalli, noted they are excited to have Ferrari autos in India, but they are still studying the market, and setting up sales network in the country.

It has not been announced yet, but the heads of Tata Motors are preparing Ferrari’s official presence on Indian territory. They are the partners of Fiat and represent it in the country. They have a multimillion car-build and distribution contract with Ferrari’s parent and now plan to deal with the “child” company as well.

According to the statistics, Tata Group seems to work with the sophisticated brands only. They made a contract with Ford and bought Jaguar and Land Rover from them. And now they are working with Ferrari.
