Dodge Viper Is in Production Again |
Fiat develops its own models using Chrysler technologies and plants and going firmly to the parts of the world auto market where it has not been before, but the production of Chrysler projects was a mystery to the public. This Friday the representatives of the automaker have made a statement that Dodge Viper, the company’s signature product, will be built for 2010 “and beyond”.
Several weeks ago it has been noticed that the production of the car will stop in December 2009. Apparently, the new Chrysler leaders decided to revise the plans and to keep making the 600-horsepower auto. According to some sources, the manufacturer will build both roadster and coupe versions of Dodge Viper SRT10 and even its ACR package.
The current Dodge President and CEO Mike Accavitti says, “We’re extremely proud that the ultimate American-built sports car with its world-class performance will live on as the iconic image for the Dodge brand.”
