Although the launch of the Cadillac CTS production in Australia was highly expected, General Motors announced about the indefinite delay due to many serious reasons. The company’s chairman thinks the automaker has invested a lot of money in the car production in Australia and the present situation in the world would not be the best influence on the right Cadillac presentation at the market. The head of GM Holden says the main reasons why the luxury car cannot be launched at the country are global financial crisis, challenging market conditions and constantly changing exchange rate. So, instead of being introduces to the customers later this year, Cadillac CTS will have to wait for its turn for an indefinite period of time. The 2009 Cadillac CTS was first introduced at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. It is built on the rear-wheel-drive Sigma platform with the supercharged V8 engine that produces 556 horsepower and 551 pound-feet of torque.
