Audi Raises Prices for A6 and S6 |
As many other auto manufacturers Audi did not have good sales year and according to the November report the 2008 sales were 35% down comparing to the 2007. But this fact didn’t upset the company enough to go away from the idea of raising prices on Audi S6 and A6.
2009 Audi S6, which goes to the showrooms in January, has 5.2-liter FSI V10 and produces 435 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. Its price will start at $76,725 including the destination fees, so the auto became $3,600 more expensive.
The simpler 2009 A6 model will cost $45,925 including shipping. This is $2,200 more than for the previous year model. A6 has 3.0-liter TFCI V6 engine with 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The optional features include BlueTooth, HomeLink, sunroof, heated front seats, satellite radio and Audi music interface with iPod connection.
