After that long, long, long wait, we are pleased to let you know that Chevrolet has finally released official photos of the Camaro. Slated to arrive in LS, LT and SS trim levels, engine choices range from a 3.6 liter V6 rated at 296hp all the way up to the 416hp 6.2 liter V8 which is said to have cylinder deactivation to help with fuel economy. A fully independent suspension coupled with StabiliTrak along with a 52/48 (F/R) weight distribution should make the Camaro a decent partner on twisty winding roads while Brembo brakes on the top dog SS make short work of stopping. This is one car I can't wait to get behind the wheel of, and although I have been pretty critical of GM for not getting this car to market sooner, I am still excited to finally see it go on sale. An official launch is scheduled next week for the United States, and we expect more details to emerge than. Until then these pictures will have to wet your appetite. [source] Add your comment:
