2009 Geneva Auto Show is opening its doors next week, but the automakers still try to keep the public intrigued with new projects. Italdesign-Giugiaro has sent to the Internet teaser pictures of what they call “the fastest hybrid in the world” which is going to be unveiled at the Auto Show. Italian company is known for the designs of such vehicles as Daewoo Lanos, Volkswagen Golf, BMW Nazca C2 and Nazca C2 Spider, Fiat Uno, Maserati Coupe and many others. This time Italdesign made partners with Frazer-Nash Research which specializes on the latest technologies in hybrid and electric vehicles. The image of the fastest hybrid concept is very sketchy and the only thing anybody can say for sure is that the car does not look like well known Toyota Prius or Honda Civic, but more like the supercar created by Italdesign for the last year Geneva Auto Show. The name of the concept is kept in secret as well, but since all the previous works from the Italian automaker bore names of its partners, the fastest hybrid will be probably called Frazer-Nash something.
