2009 Geneva Auto Show: 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports

English manufacturer Bentley is going to bring 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports to the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. Seems like designers wanted to satisfy the widest range of customers ever: the car is fast, very powerful and environmentally friendly: it can run on both gasoline and E85.

The car has a 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbocharged engine that gives it a lot of muscle: 621 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. If desired 2010 Bentley can reach the top speed of 204 mph.

The automaker is proud of carbon-ceramic brakes in the Continental Supersports saying that these are “the largest and most powerful brakes ever fitted to a production car”. Besides, the weight of the vehicle was reduced by 243 pounds comparing to Continental GT Speed.

Just because the new Bentley runs on flex fuel does not mean it will be fuel-efficient. The manufacturer says Continental Supersports uses 13 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Even 2009 Hummer does better than that!

Those who pay attention to the looks of vehicles instead of muscle will be impressed as well. The main feature of the exterior is “dark smoked” steel finish on all the bright parts such as front grilles, lamp bezels, window surrounds and wheels. The manufacturer offers a variety of body colors: pearlescent Ice and Quarzite, Light Grey Satin and Dark Grey Satin.
